These sterile, nonwoven sponges are optimal for wound cleansing and may also serve as a secondary dressing to enhance absorbency. They generate minimal lint and exhibit reduced adherence compared to woven gauze sponges, resulting in less disturbance to the wound bed. The rayon and polyester blend offers rapid absorbency while maintaining high absorbent capacity and minimizing skin maceration. Contains no natural rubber latex.
